Family Therapy

Family therapy is a unique form of group therapy, consisting of one or more families. With family therapy, the nuclear family (i.e., parents and children) or the nuclear family plus whoever lives in the household (e.g., grandparent) come into treatment. I will work with the whole family unit to heal the family. Often, dysfunctional patterns of communication that develop between family members can lead to conflict. I will work with all family members to help them cope with the issue and encourage resolution and growth in the case of the individual family member with the problem.
